So it’s that time again, the curtain call for the Premier League. It’s Matchday 38, 10 games and all 3pm kick-offs let’s do this!
Arsenal vs Everton
An interesting tie to kick things off on Sunday afternoon with Everton travelling to The Emirates. Two very good sides and to be honest I can’t separate them because it all depends on which Arsenal turns up. I just can’t see a clear winner so that’s why I’m predicting a 2-2 Draw.
Burnley vs West Ham
Bunrley finish the season at home where they’ve had a brilliant record this season, so hopefully they can send their fans home with one last big win. West Ham are really struggling at the minute, with just 1 win in their last 4 games. I think home field advantage will be a factor here so, I’m predicting a 1-0 win for Burnley.
Chelsea vs Sunderland
It’s the final game at Stamford Bridge, for club captain and legend John Terry. Terry will lead out the Champions for the final time today and you just know all of the fans and players are going to want to send JT off on a high. I don’t think Sunderland stand a chance here so this is an easy one for me, Chelsea win 3-0.
Hull City vs Tottenham Hotspur
Both teams don’t really have much to play for here, Spurs have confirmed their spot as runners-up in the Premier League and unfortunately Hull have already been relegated. So as far as I’m concerned its business as usual and an easy win for Pochettino’s men. Tottenham Hotspur win 4-0.
Leicester City vs AFC Bournemouth
Leicester’s disappointing start to the season has quickly been forgotten and now they can potentially creep into the top half of the table if other results go their way. However, on the other hand Bournemouth will be chasing their highest ever finish in the Premier League. Both sides will be well up for this one and I think this will be a great game. Leicester City win 3-2.
Liverpool vs Middlesborough
Liverpool know that a slip up here can potentially take them out of the Champions League for next season. So you better expect them to be fired right up and looking to blow away the already relegated Boro. Liverpool win 3-1.
Manchester United vs Crystal Palace
United have confirmed a 6th place finish and with one eye on the Europa League Final against Ajax, Jose Mourinho has already guaranteed that he will field a weakened team and even field some of the youngsters from United’s under-23’s and under-18’s. Palace have confirmed survival in the Premier League, so they’re chasing the extra points and bigger prize money. I don’t expect it to be 11 youngsters from United but I still don’t fancy them for the win. 1-1 Draw.
Southampton vs Stoke City
Not too much here to play for, the biggest movement in this fixture would be a Southampton loss which sees them drop down potentially to 11th. Also a Stoke loss could see them fall to 17th, so the only thing on the line here really is pride. I see this on paper as a brilliant game of attack and counter attack so I’m going to say Southampton win 2-1.
Swansea City vs West Bromwich Albion
Swansea are guaranteed Premier League football next season so there’s absolutely no pressure on them and I feel like this could mean we see a different side to Paul Clement’s side. After a difficult year, they have the chance to send their fans home happy. Swansea City win 1-0.
Watford vs Manchester City
City just like Liverpool and Arsenal will be fighting for a Champions League spot, so they’re going to be well up for it. We are used to seeing drama on the final day but I can’t see any here to be honest an easy win for City. Manchester City win 2-0.
