A look ahead to the midweek Premier League action.
Burnley vs Stoke
Burnley will be looking to resume normal service at home following their defeat to Tottenham. They take on a Stoke side also fresh off a defeat, both teams come into this one with their heads down, however both will be looking to get back to winning ways. I fancy Burnley to nick this one. Burnley win 1-0.
Leicester vs Sunderland
The Champions resurgence continues and they’re absolutely mental at the minute with a perfect record under Craig Shakespeare. Sunderland on the other hand can’t seem to do anything right and are sure fire favourites to go down. I fancy Leicester in this one. Leicester win 2-0.
Watford vs West Brom
Watford take on a tough West Brom side who fought out a draw with United at the weekend and nearly stole a win. This off the back of beating Arsenal has Pulis‘ men in high spirits no doubt. I fancy West Brom. West Brom win 3-1.
Manchester United vs Everton
Faltering at home, United welcome an in form dangerous Everton side who will surely be looking to close the gap on United who sit in 5th. United will surely be boosted by the return of Zlatan, can he score on his return? Or will Lukaku strike again? I think this is another draw for United at home. 2-2 Draw.
Aresenal vs West Ham
Arsenal played a brilliant draw this weekend and they come up against a Hammers side who slipped up at relegation battlers Hull. The Hammers will be looking to bounce back and Arsenal will be looking to put some form together and close the gap on the top 4. We know both teams can attack however they both also have their defensive lapses. This is either a goal frenzy or a technical masterpiece. I’m going with a win for West Ham. West Ham win 2-1.
Hull vs Middlesborough
A genuinely massive 6 pointer between two teams in the bottom 3. Both sides have different managers to those who started the campaign. Hull’s fortunes under Marco Silva have somewhat improved and fresh off a win at the weekend I fancy them to put together a little streak. Hull win 1-0.
Southampton vs Crystal Palace
Big Sam’s men will be buzzing after that momentous victory at Stamford Bridge and they’re bid to beat the drop should continue as The Saints haven’t been the same without Gabbiadini. I fancy Sam’s boys to nick this. Crystal Palace win 2-0.
Swansea vs Tottenham
Spurs will be looking to continue their pursuit of Chelsea and I really can’t see Swansea stopping them. Pochettino’s men shouldn’t have too many problems here. Tottenham win 3-0.
Chelsea vs Manchester City
A must win for Conte’s Chelsea after they slipped up at the weekend. They will be looking to make sure the final run in to the Premier League trophy is a calm easy run and a victory over City would do just that. However, Guardiola’s men are no pushovers both sides play entertaining, attacking football so this is a great watch for the neutrals amongst you. Something in me fancies City in this one. City win 2-1.
Liverpool vs Bournemouth
Liverpool are high off that amazing Merseyside Derby win and I can see that momentum carrying on. Bournemouth on paper are no match for Jurgen Klopp’s men with or without Mane. I strongly favour Liverpool. Liverpool win 3-0.
